Delicate heart, unbreakable spirit

A lifelong musician, Tobey began playing piano at the age of 6 and explored the power of melody and meaning from a tender age. Her artistry draws from personal experiences, most notably her comeback after a life-altering brain injury. Through sheer determination and love for her craft, Tobey rebuilt not only her voice but also her spirit, transforming her recovery into an inspiring creative journey.

Her earlier releases, including "Who are you," written in tribute to her late grandfather's battle with dementia, and "Time," honoring families who've lost loved ones to political violence, have showcased her compassion and ability to give voice to shared human experiences. Her first EP Album was a charity album that earned her praise for her emotional depth and social consciousness.

Tobey's music stands out for its vulnerability, cinematic production, and timeless vocal warmth, appealing to fans from all walks of life. Her transparency and strength prove through her music that even after life's hardest storms, art and the human spirit can shine brighter in the darkest of days.

My Confession

"It can be achingly lonely to be human, to be unique, to carry a life full of memories, moments of brilliance, shattering pain, tender joy, and rawness. A musician feels this in a profoundly deeper way, if I may be so bold. Every single note becomes a confession, every melody I write is derived from a memory excavated from places that words cannot even reach. I give pieces of myself to the world through sound, to which I add words so I can be better understood. I can only hope that someone out there will hear not just the music, but the truth within it, the story and life behind it; my quiet griefs, subtle joys, my scars and my softness, and most of all my transparent vulnerability. I think in the end, the most meaningful thing for me as an artist isn't applause or praise, but the rare and precious feeling that I'm completely understood, if not just for a moment, by someone who can hear my soul through the music I make.

I confess, that is my deepest desire as a musician.

Of course, I write songs that tickle my ears as well, every song does not need to be abyss deep, but its nice to dive into the most vulnerable aspects of ourselves and release it into the universe, its liberating."
